For Christmas, I got this great book of crochet patterns, Crochet Boutique by Rachael Oglesby. I love that the pieces are geared toward the younger crowd, with hip slouchy hats and wonderfully oversized scarves. The patterns are beginner friendly, which I love because I taught myself to crochet through youtube videos and this great blogger, Craftyminx, who created a free crochet school on her blog.
So far, I've made these hats, and I am dying to make more projects.
